What Video Software do You Use?

Well, after publishing my post about the , I have had some questions about the video software I use.  There are so many out there and more coming out every day it seems.

I have four that I use for different purposes.

Vidnami (formerly Content Samurai)

If you want to produce great looking videos in record time that you to NOT have to appear in, then Vidnami  is for you.

Here is a quick demo.

Now you and I know that often the demo videos make things look really easy and then you try to do the same thing and ooops.  This is truly NOT the case with Vidnami.  It really is easy to use and produces great videos quickly.

If there is any interest, I will do a full review of Vidnami but in the meantime, you can get a 14 day free trial here.

VideoBuilder

Here is another software that lets you create videos where you do not have to appear on camera ( if you think I do NOT want to appear on camera, you’d be right!)

This software takes longer to create the videos but you have some animated presenters you can use (with the regular version) or real people (pro version).

If comes with a wide variety of backgrounds (static and video) and you can add many different elements at various times during your video.

It does a fairly good job of taking your script and breaking it up so it presents well and the animation is not bad either.  The text to speech function offers a variety of personalities.

You can have a look at Videobuilder here.

AdReel

If you want quick snappy ads with great animation then take a look at AdReel.

While you can indeed create ads with the others mentioned above, the animations in this are great!  You get a variety of text types (chalkboard, handwriting, typing etc), animations and backgrounds.

Here is a quick example of what you can create in under 5 minutes with Adreel.

The Iceberg Effect

Viddyoze

Lastly, I am a member of Viddyoze.  Now this online software allows you to create great intros, outros, overlays, transitions, logos and more.

There are templates for all of these and if you are member of the template club, there are more template available to you (I am no longer a member of the club as I just do not need new templates every month as I am not using this to create videos for others).

So just for the fun of it I created a little intro video…

Do I need them all – probably not.  I got in on the ground floor on most so I use them and stop myself from buying more when they come out.

So,  what do you use?
