This is just a quick post thrown together to show you just a few of the awesome features of the Simple Video Management System.
I had planned to install the plugin and so a proper review BUT…
Despite keeping the php up to date on the main domain, this blog was using a really old version. In my efforts to update it, I broke my blog. SIGH
Being the stubborn person I am, I kept at it way too long before I contacted support. Once I explained what I have done and what was happening, my site was up and running the new version of php within 15 minutes. LESSON LEARNED (probably not ;-(()

I’m sure you use video on your sites for various purposes such as sales videos, information videos, opt-in videos etc.
As videos become more prevalent, you are no doubt going to keep adding to your collection.
There are two things that I find annoying about using videos.
First, I have them hosted in various places and can’t always remember which video is where. It is a waste of time to have to go searching for them.
Second, I have used a few players to show the videos on my sites as I want to have more control over how they play and what I can do with them. The last player I used was just deprecated last month. It is no longer supported and the videos I have displayed using that played all have to be redone.
** SIGH **
I don’t know about you, but those expensive video management services are just too much for me.

So I picked it up yesterday.
Three things stood our for me:
1. Display a CTA (or any button or form) during the video at any time you choose
2. Organize all your videos in one place
3. Easily overlay an animated GIF to get your visitors attention now that videos don’t autoplay
Well, four actually… David and his team use their own plugin to manage the videos in their sites so I know they will keep it running smoothly.
There is so much more to this plugin. Seriously, it is well worth taking the time to watch the short video showing some of the great features.
