Passive Income – Is it a Real Thing?

Have you heard the phrase “”?

Is there really such a thing as ?

The idea I have heard is that you set something up online that can earn you money and then you just let it alone to earn money all by itself.

While I’m sure someone somewhere has put in all the hours it takes to set something like  this up and get it working, it is really a lot of work  and who knows how long it will keep working?

Several years ago I bought into this idea using auto-post blogs.  I spent money on the plugins, hours setting it up and researching niches and putting everything in place.  It worked well for a few months, then google caught on and poof no more traffic, no more money.

I gave up on the idea.

Last year I looked at and invested in CBPassiveIncome (I upgraed to the Pro version as well).  This is a done-for-you sales funnel.  Everything is set up so that you just have to send traffic to the done-for-you opt-in pages, lead magnets and follow-up emails promoting various products on which you earn a commission.

It is all done through ClickBank so you know you will be paid your commissions (assuming your sales meet ClickBank’s requirements which is not too difficult).

I have actually been able to make some money with this system BUT you have to keep feeding it traffic.  You can build a list at the same time, always a good idea, especially if you are paying for traffic.

The quality of the traffic you send makes a big difference in the results you get so you
will have to track this carefully (as I am sure you are already doing – yes?) so you know
where to get your best traffic.

So far I have used solo ads and Facebook ads,   For me, the solo ads converted much better than Facebook ads dollar for dollar.

The good part:

-You don’t need to write or produce any unique content

-You don’t need to create any products to sell

-You don’t need to write up any sales letters

-You don’t need to provide any customer service or follow up support

-You don’t even need to learn about internet marketing – although you can if you want to!

The system includes training on getting both paid and free traffic to your pages.

Above is a snapshot of my dashboard showing the training that you get on how to drive traffic to your lead magnets.

There is link tracking available (I recommend it) to help you know which of your promotions converts the best so you can focus on more of the same.

You can see all the clicks and all the leads that you have generated.  Below is a look at one of my leads pages (I have hidden the IPs and the email addresses).

Of course, if you already have a list, you can promote this to your existing list to start with.

The “Bad” Part:

There is no real bad part as far as I am concerned.  You have no additional works to do if you do not want to.

All you have to do is get traffic (targeted traffic that is) to your offers to start building a list.

You can see and retrieve the email addresses manually from your list in CBPassiveIncome.

Pro Version

There are some perks to the Pro version.

For example, you can link your CBPassiveIncome list to an Autoresponder to automatically add the email addresses to a list of your own design where you can promote what ever products you wish.

You also get his email campaigns for 5 areas of Internet Marketing.  I have used them (of course you change them to your own voice) and I have to say the the open rate is really really good.  A screen shot of my campaign is below.

It is not uncommon to have an open rate below 5% after the first few emails so to maintain this high a rate is great.

You can learn how to create engaging emails just from adapting these email to what you want to promote.

Have a look and see what you think – CB Passive Income.

To your success!
