Well, I have made a decision about one of my sites that I have pretty much abandoned.
After reviewing Kevin’s Building a Business on WordPress Checklists, I have decided to take that site I started last year (I was distracted by Shiny Objects – it still happens, I know better, but…) and redo it following the checklists.
It is a WordPress blog and I had intended it to be a business blog so it fits the bill nicely.
While I have had the domain for about a year and do have a blog setup on it, there is no traffic to it.
My plan is to document what I do, which checklist I am working with and how I get along following the checklists. The ones I have used previously have been most helpful.
Perhaps with you to hold me accountable, I will actually complete this is a timely manner.
I am taking the weekend to review the WordPress checklists with an eye to this site and plan my work. Some of the tasks I am not very good at so we will see what happens. I am not outsourcing (although these checklists are great for that) as I want to document the entire process.
So, starting next week, I will be working on that site and will be blogging about my progress, problems, successes and failures.
