How to Gain Profits Through Blog List Building

As a niche marketer, you don’t want one-time profits. You want a residual income that streams in on autopilot for you – again and again. You want to expand your income by cultivating repeat buyers as well as getting new buyers onboard.  This is where building a list for comes in.

Blogging is a great way to get people to your blog. Your content alone will pull in traffic once it gets indexed by Google and other search engines. And the more you blog, the more targeted traffic lands on your site.

You can also push traffic to your blog from outside sources – like social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Youtube to name a few.

But once they get there, you will lose them forever if you don’t have a method to capture their name and email address. By adding them to a subscriber list, you can notify them each time a new blog is posted, every time you’re promoting a product, and whenever you have your own product launch coming up.

You need to capture emails on your blog using a reliable autoresponder system. There are many free and paid products you can choose from. Some have a limited trial discount and others, such as Aweber, have a free starter account.

Your list will want a subscribe-worthy freebie to download or access before they’re willing to hand over their contact details. Here is a post that gives you 12 ideas for list building freebies.

There are two kinds of profits you’ll enjoy from a list build through your blog – the initial profits from a first time conversion, and follow-up repeat profits from proven buyers.

You have the opportunity to continue marketing to your audience over time. That might be daily, several times a week, or weekly – depending on how you set up your series.

You can queue up an automated autoresponder series or use broadcast emails to reach out to them whenever there’s an offer or information you want them to see right then and there.

Despite all the chatter about being dead, it is still the best and most cost-effective method of gaining repeat profits.
